Grenada's orange colour comes exclusively from urucum — a natural pigment from Bixa orellana seeds, native to South America. Rich in beta-carotene, it has been used for centuries as a natural food and cosmetic colourant. No synthetic dyes.
No. Urucum gives colour to the soap itself but does not stain skin when rinsed. With regular use, it acts as a progressive glow active — it is not a self-tanner and leaves no coloured residue.
Yes. Grenada is formulated for face and body. Apricot oil is lightweight and non-comedogenic — it nourishes without clogging pores. If your skin is very sensitive, use it alternated with Clair de Lune (EO-free).
Grenada contains organic mandarin essential oil (Ecocert certified) and natural limonene. Very sensitive skin types can patch test first. For skin allergic to essential oils, Clair de Lune remains our main recommendation.
Stored out of water (ideally on a magnetic soap holder), a ~100 g bar lasts 4 to 6 weeks with daily use — equivalent to 2 to 3 bottles of 250 ml liquid shower gel.
