How do you use the magnetic soap holder?
1. Clean the wall and fix the suction cup
Start by cleaning the surface where you want to place the suction cup (wall, sink, shower, bath, tiles…).
The area must be smooth and even, so the cup can grip properly.
Then simply press the suction cup into place.
2. Push in the disc
Push the metal magnetic disc into the centre of your soap or shampoo bar.
One caution: if the bar is very dry, dampen it slightly before pushing the disc in, then let it dry for a few hours before first use.
A bar that is too dry can split as the disc goes in.
Slightly damp, and the disc slides in far more easily.
3. Done
All that is left is to bring the soap close to the suction cup: the magnet does the rest.

How does it attach to the wall?
With a suction cup. Clean the surface, press the cup into place and it holds on tiles, glass, mirrors and any smooth, non-porous surface.
It will not hold on bare walls, plaster, wood or tiles with wide grout lines: a suction cup needs a continuous surface.
Does the magnetic insert damage the soap?
No. The disc sinks in a few millimetres and stays there to the end. When the bar is finished you pull it out, rinse it and reuse it on the next one, indefinitely.
If your soap is very dry, dampen it for a moment before pushing the disc in and nothing will crack.
Magnetic or adhesive holder?
It depends what bothers you. An adhesive holder carries more weight but it is permanent: it leaves a mark when removed, and the soap still rests on it, so it stays wet underneath.
The magnetic one holds the soap suspended in the air: it dries on every side, nothing pools, and the suction cup moves whenever you want. That is why we chose this one.
Do I also need a draining dish?
No, and that is the whole point. A draining dish matters when the soap rests on something and the water has to escape. Here the soap rests on nothing: the water simply falls.
How much weight does it hold?
Up to 160 g of solid cosmetic, which is a full 100 g bar with room to spare. Made in France, in Angers.
Does it work with a shampoo bar too?
With care. A shampoo bar is denser and harder than a soap, and pushing the insert in can split it.
For shampoo bars we prefer a support that simply lets the water drain away. The magnetic holder is at its best with soap.
